- Jayce Lewis´s solo career began in late 2008 starting with his first ever release - Icon. Music channel giants -VH1 and MTV play listed the Welshman video some months later,
after a succession of media interest VH1 named Jayce 'Artist of the Month', with his video receiving high
rotation on national music channels across the Asian market, together with a headline tour of VH1´s 'Global
Express Tour' - and a headline performance on DNA Festival, Jayce signed to EMI Records leading to Icon´s
eventual release on Asia´s biggest compilation album - 'Smash Hits 2009' listing Jayce along side -
The Prodigy, Nickelback, Coldplay, Depeche Mode, Lili Allen and many more...

Mid 2009 saw Jayce gaining vast interest on British soil, with the commissioning of a BBC 1 documentary -
'Big in India' the program documented 2 live performance in India. and an insight into his relationship
with his father Charlie and Mentor - David Prowse MBE who played Super villain - Darth Vader. The 30 minute
'obv doc' was aired on March 9th 2009 -
BBC 1, and repeated again two months later capturing an audience close to quarter of a million!
- With the debut album recording well underway plans were set to film a second music video, the track -
Solitaire. Chosen on its concept by Jayce´s fascination of Space, Like 'Icon'
Jayce played all rolls of the musicians, getting across his multi-skilled musicianship.
- The album was released on October 11th 2010 in Europe and Asia - 1 month after release the
album charted Top 10 in the M-Music Asian Charts, positioning Jayce at number 7, ahead of Eminem and Bonjovi
but pipped at the number 6 spot by Linkin Park. Attention slowly shifted to the U.K market where a
further two videos were filmed; Passes II and Electric Medicine, both videos securing signings in
Eastern Europe and tours with, Gary Numan, Combichrist and Korn!
- Jayce's persistence on the live show consuming an audience with power and energy proved key to his
workings with concert leaders; Kilimanjaro as he continues to captivate live music lovers around the globe.
